What Is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle-touch, heart-centric energy work, wherein the practitioner helps channel and guide the Qi - the universal energy within all things - to clear blockages along the meridian lines (energetic pathways in the body), the chakras, and within the auric field, to help restore balance.
Reiki is most commonly used for, and has scientifically been shown beneficial for, stress reduction and management. This is incredibly important as studies have shown that over 60% of all diseases are caused, at their roots, by stress! Reiki is used in every country across the world. In the US, Reiki is becoming more commonplace in private practices, clinics, hospitals and hospices for it's amazing calming effect, ability to reduce healing times after injuries or surgeries, and more. That being said, Reiki s a therapy that you can't afford NOT to try!
