What is EFT?
EFT is an emotional version of acupuncture, without needles, that may reduce stress. We stimulate important release points by tapping on them with our fingertips. By adding some focal point words and affirming where we are at with a situation, EFT assists the mind and body to calm the fight or flight reaction.
Trauma of any sort downloads to every cell of the body and tapping is a kinesthetic way to release it. A negative life experience becomes a stored emotion and continues to vibrate that energy in our body, and that memory is still causing that vibe to go out, causing illness, stress, or other issues. By discharging that energy you can move from that stuck place. |
A natural motion that we might find ourselves doing subconsciously in times of stress or pain - drumming our fingers, tapping our chest, resting our hands or fingers on our forehead or chin or by the side of the eyes, rubbing our forehead or temples, pressing our hands or fingertips together - all address these natural release and relief points on the body. EFT uses this concept in a methodical way that brings a high level of results.
